-imagine-
scenario: a teacher asking his/her student about her weekend.
"So azura, what did you do last weekend?"
"Well, i spent my saturday drawing on rocks with my bestfriend, while inhaling kiddie body odor after being baked under the sun for 6 hours."
- teacher gives a puzzled look, as if he/she was about to send the student to a counsellor -
"I was at my brother's primary school, helping out at a carnival held there.""Ouh. I see."
and you kids are so, how do i put it... TEROK LAH! you think i don't see you walking back and fourth past our stall like about a zillion tribillion times, and yet you CHOOSE to place an order, PERSONALISE AND CHOOSE COLOR some more, 15 MINS BEFORE THE CARNIVAL CLOSES. you think funny ah watch poor kay and me frantically decorate stones that belong engraved into your head, while you sit and ask for certain colours.
NO MORE INK, UNDERSTAND?!
goodness. choosy spoilt brats.
and so after 6 fan-less, wind-less hours of rock-drawing, all that was left were two very DEHYDRATED, exhausted, yet satisfied O-Level takers.

what a way to spend a saturday.
----------------------------------------------------------
and to think that my saturday ended just like that?
oh no no no.
that night, we brought daddy's mummy and family to watch the fireworks display at marina.
at 9pm.
i was practically complaining of a super-duper tired body being dragged around by super-duper tired legs. and i was ignored.
when the fireworks began, i thought i could capture all of it on camera. snap here and there, maybe. but by the 10th minute, my hand crammed up and i was left to laugh at myself. oh well.
after the display, we made our way down to the chillout stage at the esplanade hoping to be awaken by some band music.
not my luckiest days. some other group was performing some indian songs. it was as if they were doing a performance of 'bollywood soundtracks'.
interesting. but not to my interest.
met up with nezam. he hung out with me and my family. apparently, i have a very amusing family, according to him. explains me lah. right?
dad then decided to jam 5 ppl at the back seat of a very tiny merc.
the results?
mind you , i was ON her.nyarharhar. we didnt get our coffee. and this was what we turned into.two very ugly-looking camera-whores. very.
