A Blessing In Disguisemy supposed plan after racial harmony day on friday was to NOT go to this year's annual cross-country at McRitchie Reservoir. but after being persuaded, i caved. and decided to drag batman along with purple teeth too. nyahar.
everyone was supposed to meet at 2.50pm at Yishun Interchange. however, not everyone's 2.50 is the same. the event was supposed to start at 2.30, but, whatever. after boarding the super old bus, praying that it wldn't break down half way(cause it sounded like it was going to), we made it to McRitchie in one piece.
the carpark was practically empty when we got there. apparently, everyone has gone up to the starting point already. heck it.
.... i shall save you the bordom and just move up to the main part of the story.
and so rayze, shammy, batman, kay and myself were the only non-competitors left to go. as kay, cousin and myself were running and making fun of each other,
" Ehy, Syahiran!"
apparently, the dude had decided to ignore the doctor's 7-day m.c. and run the race. however, he underestimated his own strength, and there i found him, on the ground. unconsious. again.
thank goodness for us being late, or else the poor little sjab girls would have to carry the super heavy boy all the way back. and boy, it was not easy, or fun.
3 lessons learnt today:
1. people are heavier when unconcious.
2. stretchers are not user friendly(they are heavy and the handles causes blisters)
3. McRitchie's path is NOT a good place to pass out in
